New Board of Director and Board Representative for Ontario-Canada Chapter of KPA

KPA would like to thank Helen Song for your short tenure with KPA as the Board of Director for Ontario-Canada Chapter of KPA. Due to her overwhelming schedule, she is unable to complete her term. We are excited to announce our new Board of Director, Jeanaha Kim. In addition, we are thrilled to add a board representative to the same chapter represented by Martin Park. Both Jeanaha and Martin have impressive background as prosecutors, and KPA is pleased to add their experience to this year and next year’s board. Their bios are found under the Board of Directors on this website. Welcome Jeanaha and Martin to KPA.

KPA Presents MCLE Webinar Series

During this difficult period of COVID-19 pandemic, majority of our members have been telecommuting to work. We would like to take this opportunity to provide our members with CLE Webinar series via Zoom. KPA is a California State Bar approved multiple activity CLE provider. Please check your jurisdiction to determine if your state bar will accept California accredited CLE training course. We are proud and delighted to present our “in-house” speakers, experts in their subject matters. We thank them for volunteering their time and sharing their knowledge to our KPA members. The first Webinar “Why Can’t I Just Show UP for Opening Statement?” features our KPA member Geoff Lewin, Deputy District Attorney for the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office. Geoff is one of the best trial attorneys in his office and is an expert in voir dire. This Webinar is free for all paid and non-paid KPA members. All future webinars will be available for only 2020 paid KPA members. We encourage everyone to pay their annual dues and take advantage of our webinar series and to participate in our 10th year anniversary international criminal conference at the InterContinental Hotel in Downtown Los Angeles, CA.
